Terms of Service

Vetzzo is an intermediary platform that facilitates the import of used vehicles from Europe to Portugal. Vetzzo acts exclusively as a facilitator — never as owner, buyer or reseller of vehicles. Vetzzo holds no inventory.

The commercial purchase and sale of the vehicle is always established directly between the buyer and the European seller, with the scout acting as an independent inspector contracted by the buyer.

By creating an account or using the platform, you accept these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Vetzzo offers:

• Platform for buyers to publish import requests.
• Marketplace of verified scouts with profiles, reviews and availability calendar.
• Booking and payment system for pre-purchase vehicle inspection.
• Real-time tracking dashboard of the import process.
• Digital document vault (inspection report, ISV, DAV, registration).
• WhatsApp notifications at each stage of the process.
• Coordination of transport, Portuguese inspection, ISV, DAV and plate issuance.

Inspection deposit: paid at the time of scout booking. Covers travel and vehicle inspection. Non-refundable after the scout has travelled to the vehicle.

Vetzzo service fee: due only once the vehicle is ready to be delivered — no payment to Vetzzo before that point. The amount ranges from €1,200 to €2,800 depending on the vehicle value, as shown in the ISV calculator.

Additional costs: ISV, DAV, Portuguese inspection (Controlauto/CiViseu), IMT, plates and transport are charged at actual cost with no Vetzzo margin.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By making a payment, you also accept Stripe's Terms of Service.

• Provide truthful and complete information in the import request.
• Review the inspection report before approving the purchase.
• Make payments within the agreed deadlines.
• Ensure you meet the legal requirements for vehicle registration in Portugal.

Scouts are independent service providers. Vetzzo verifies their credentials but is not responsible for the quality of the inspection or for incorrect information provided by the scout. The scout is civilly liable for the inspection report they issue.

Vetzzo is not a party to the vehicle purchase and sale. We are not responsible for hidden defects in the vehicle, delays caused by third parties (carriers, customs authorities, IMT), changes to ISV rates decreed by the Portuguese State, or failures in third-party services (Stripe, Twilio, Mapbox).

Vetzzo's maximum liability to any buyer is limited to the value of the service fee paid by that buyer.

The buyer may cancel the request before the scout travels to the vehicle, with a full refund of the inspection deposit. After the scout has travelled, the inspection deposit is non-refundable. The Vetzzo service fee is only due on delivery of the vehicle — nothing is charged, and there is no refund of this fee, for a cancellation before that point.

All content on the Vetzzo platform (text, design, code, logo) is the property of Vetzzo. Reproduction without written authorisation is prohibited.

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. In the event of a dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Viseu, Portugal, without prejudice to recourse to the Consumer Dispute Arbitration Centre.

Vetzzo reserves the right to amend these terms. Changes will be communicated by email with 15 days' notice. Continued use of the platform after that period implies acceptance of the new terms.
